Wednesday 24th February saw our popular student debate take place in the old chapel and students from across the college came along to join in.
The debate posed the question of whether the UK should stay or leave the EU. Pro EU debaters were Oliver Livesey, Kieran Greaves and Will White and Opposing debaters were Chloe Donnelly, Jack Tolley and Maxwell Leiser-Ford. The debate was chaired by Andrew Peak, President of the Debating Society.
The question was hotly debated with many points and opinions argued with great conviction and many questions were put forward from the floor. In the end students voted to stay in the EU. A hugely engaging experience for all.
