Hockey Success
SIR John Deane’s College hockey players have stormed into the new season – carrying on a successful 2010.
The College’s Mixed Hockey team was recognised as ‘best in the country’ when they were crowned National Champions 2010, and the Men’s Hockey won the National Plate, earlier in the year.
And, when they kicked off their new season in September, they clocked up a magnificent score line of 18-0 against St Mary’s College, Blackburn.
Special congratulations go to Bek Andrews, Mike Sambell and Tom Hill who all managed to score hat-tricks!
