One day Landscapes in Spring with watercolours course.
Course content
We will be experimenting with a range of water colour techniques that will enable you to gain confidence to be able to produce a landscape painting in water colour. You can bring along Spring images to gain inspiration but the tutor will provide images for guidance. The day will include: • Composition • Colour mixing • Water colour techniques • Landscape painting Materials Required Water colour paper in sheet form or a water colour pad. The weight of paper should be between 90lb and 140lb Flat brush ½ inch – 1 inch No 9 or 10 brush Rigger brush Natural sponge Masking Tape Wax candle Large old plate for mixing paint Water pot Kitchen roll Water colour paints or paint-set that should include – Ultramarine/ burnt Umber/ Raw Sienna/ Light Red/ Lemon Yellow/ Yellow ocher/ Paynes grey. |
| Lunch and refreshments A complimentary light buffet lunch is included. Drinks may be purchased from the foyer, so please bring some small change with you. Due to Health and Safety regulations we are unable to allow drinks into the classrooms. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for special diets. |
