Student Profile:
HANNAH, from Helsby - studying Photography, Maths, Physics, English Lit
"Moving to Sir John Deane’s College was the best decision I have ever made. The photography department is great with inspiring teachers, amazing trips and a fantastic syllabus. The course compliments all subjects as my range of subject choice shows. The course, however requires a lot of work, but it is definitely worth it, especially with the support you receive from the staff."

MP takes questions from politics students
WEAVER Vale MP Graham Evans had his work cut out when he visited Sir John Deane’s College on Friday, March 25.
The MP for Weaver Vale visited the sixth form college, in Northwich, to hold a lunchtime question and answer session with A Level politics students.
Mr Evans spent over an hour talking with around 50 students – explaining about his role and giving his views on a wide variety of topics from government cuts to Libya and English parliamentary voting rights.
Paul Allanach, Head of History and Politics at SJD, said: “We would like to thank Graham for coming in – it was a lively and interesting session and the students learned a lot about the working life of an MP.”
