Student Profile:
JESSICA, from Tarporley - studying Economics, Maths, Biology, Art & Design
"I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Economics at Sir John Deane’s as the course is very interesting and is taught by very helpful and friendly staff. Economics should seriously be considered as an option and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to study a social science at Sir John Deane’s as it helps gain insight into many other linking subjects."

Crime that makes you smile
CRIME may not pay – but for talented Paige Owen writing about crime has proved to be a real success story!
The A Level student, from Church Minshull, near Nantwich, was recently shortlisted for the National Crime Writers’ Association short story competition – for her suspense thriller tale called Smile.
Paige is currently studying A Level English, History and Biology at Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College, in Northwich, and entered the competition for fun.
Sue Harding, Paige’s English tutor at SJD’s said: “Paige has done so well to be shortlisted for the North West area of the competition. The story she submitted was amazing – very powerful, controlled and suspenseful.”
