Presenting and Public Speaking

 

Whether it's presenting to the board or making a speech at a wedding talking in public can be a daunting task. Many think that to be a great speaker all that's required is to know your subject and be confident enough to stand up in front of a group of people to talk about it. Actually, this can often be a speaker's downfall, causing them to be long winded and getting off the point. On this module you will learn the skills, techniques and knowledge to give you the confidence to deliver an effective speech or presentation that people will actually listen to.  You will be required to prepare and deliver a speech or presentation each week to develop and improve your skills. You will also learn how to give constructive feedback to others and reflect on your own performance.
