An Introduction to white china painting
|
A painting course which covers the technical aspects and creative potential of china. An introduction each week will focus on a different application including under glaze and on glaze techniques on various items e.g. cups, plates, tiles and a variety of giftware.
Styles of ceramic decoration will include Clarice Cliff, William Morris and others.
Blank pieces to paint can be bought at minimal cost from the trainer.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
All of your ceramic painting equipment will be provided by the tutor. Blank pieces to paint can be bought at minimal cost in the first class. Please bring with you a variety of pencils, papers and sketch pads. You may also like to bring reference material, photos, sketches or magazine articles to help with your design ideas. |
