First open evening gets underway

HUNDREDS of visitors headed for Sir John Deane’s College for the first of a series of open evenings last night (Thursday, September 29).
The evening was an opportunity to look around the college’s state-of-the-art £28 million new facilities which include purpose built art studios, cutting edge science and language labs, a new digital photography studio, the latest iMac suites, new dance studio and a superb theatre seating 230.
Tutors were also on hand to give advice about the courses and how to apply.
Two more open evenings are still due to take place:
· Thursday, October 6, from 5.30pm to 9pm
· Thursday, October 13, from 5.30pm to 9pm
