SIR John Deane’s College is celebrating the completion of its fabulous new-look campus with the finishing touches to landscaping within its grounds.

“We are so proud of our beautiful new College which looks fantastic and is full of wonderful facilities for the many local students who study here,” said College Deputy Principal Louise Tipping.

As the £28million building project ends, there is plenty happening at the College, in Monarch Drive, to inspire students and include the wider community.

For those who enjoy leisure and swimming, there is the College Leisure Centre’s successful swimming academy which teaches hundreds of local children every week.

Adult learners are also welcome at College – both for evening and weekend courses.

During November, Saturday courses taking place include: Card making, Collecting Silver, Small Business Set-Up, an Aromatherapy Pamper Day, Festive Decoration making, and Painting Flowers with Watercolours.

A new prospectus featuring forthcoming courses starting in the New Year will also be dropping though local letterboxes over the next month – so keep a look out for the scores of courses you can get involved in from dance and leisure, to computing, lifestyle and language classes.
