Student Profile:
PAIGE, from Hartford - studying ICT, Psychology, Sociology, and Photography
"Changing from GCSE to A Levels can make anyone feel nervous but the welcoming atmosphere of the College and the chance to meet a wide range of people relaxes the experience. I enjoy studying ICT because the practical aspects of the subject have taught me new skills which I can use in many job situations, plus the variety of activities within the subject."

Learn to swim
The Swimming Academy at Sir John Deane’s Leisure Centre will be open to new swimmers this February.
Hundreds of young swimmers, from those making their first splash to the more advanced, attend the academy each week and, from February, there will be a limited number of places for beginners and beginner improvers at various levels.
During the February half term there will also be one-to-one lessons available.
Courses are run in 10-week blocks and children can undergo an assessment to determine their ability level before attending the most suitable session.
For more details please contact the SJD Leisure Centre on 01606 810026.
