Student Profile:
TOM, from Weaverham - studying Physics, History, Chemistry, Maths
"I really enjoy my subjects at Sir John Deane’s College, but I enjoy Physics the most. It covers such a wide range of topics and has very knowledgeable teachers. My favourite topic is Quantum as it is interesting and in depth. If you enjoy learning about how the world works you should take Physics!"

Attendance
All students at Sir John Deane’s are on a full-time course and you must attend for the whole of each term except where specified periods of Study Leave for examinations are permitted. Success at this advanced level is very closely linked to continuity of study so it is essential that students maintain full attendance throughout your course and parents/carers are asked to ensure that family holidays do not intrude into the term. Any requests for absence must be made in writing to the student’s Senior Tutor at least four weeks in advance.
