FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI)
The FOI Act gives the public a general right of access to recorded information held by public authorities with effect from 1 January 2005. In addition, all public sector organisations must adopt a Publication Scheme by 1 January 2009.

All documentation in the Sir John Deane's College Publication Scheme is available for viewing on computer screen at the College. Disbursement costs, such as photocopying, will be fully re-chargeable. Assistance will be provided for anyone who is unfamiliar with using a computer. The workstation is easily accessible to those who have a mobility impairment and readers will be provided for those who have a visual impairment.
Requests for information should be made in writing (including electronic communication such as fax or e-mail), giving the applicant's name and address and a description of the information requested. An administration fee of £25 may be applicable. We will reply within 20 working days.
