Main activities and responsibilities
* To make every effort to attend and to contribute towards Corporation and
Committee meetings together with training and development sessions for
Governors as appropriate.
* To play an active role in the strategic planning process of the College by
contributing towards discussions relating to:

The development of the College’s educational character and mission
-
The monitoring of achievement against objectives
-
The development of plans to address areas of improvement
-
Capital projects which the College is considering
* To play an active role on one of the Corporation’s committees:-
-
Policy & Resources (curriculum, accommodation, college finances)
-
Audit & Search (quality assurance, governor training and recruitment)
* To contribute to the regular monitoring of the financial health of the College
* To participate in the life of the College community eg Open Evenings
Concerts, Presentation Evenings.
