Student Profile:
AMELIA, from Tarporley - studying Applied Business, Psychology, Theatre Studies, English Language
"I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Applied Business at College. It has taught me valuable life skills and how to interact with all types of people. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help which makes the entire college process easier to handle. I would always recommend Applied Business as a subject throughout the two years."

450th Sports Day
As you may be aware, this academic year is the 450th Anniversary of the founding of Sir John Deane’s College. The College has an enviable sporting reputation and, as part of an ongoing series of events, we are organising a Sports Afternoon for current and ex-students who have helped to maintain this impressive tradition. This will take place on:
Wednesday 9th July at SJD from 1 – 4 pm
You need to have represented the college at one of the following events (although badminton and tennis will be open to any ex-students):
• Men’s Football
• Men’s Touch-rugby
• Ladies’ Netball
• Mixed Hockey
• Mixed Rowing
• Mixed Swimming
• Mixed Badminton (open to any ex-student)
• Mixed Tennis (open to any ex-student)
Obviously, places are limited and we invite you to complete the attachment as soon as possible in order to reserve your place. In order to increase the level of participation, you may like to contact your old team mates and encourage them to join you. Please try to specify a second choice of event.
