Student Profile:
YULANDA, from Verdin - studying English Language, Sociology, History
"Unsurprisingly, my time at Sir John Deane’s has lived up to all my expectations. Since starting at Sir John Deane’s, I have become a much more independent and confident person. This was no doubt helped by the relaxed atmosphere in the College and all the charming people you meet day to day. My favourite aspect of Sir John Deane’s College, however, was getting to study my favourite subject, English Language. It allowed me the chance to develop my creativity with endless competitions and gave me the freedom in my writing to express myself as I wished. The English staff and in fact, staff all across the College are friendly, patient and knowledgeable. Overall I’d have to say that my time at Sir John Deane’s College has been outstanding: You are never given an easy ride but the challenges, in the end, are always rewarding."
