Patsy Chuter, Adult Education Manager at SJD, said:
“The lectures are a great platform for our continuing collaboration with the University of Liverpool and we are delighted to still be hosting more of these exciting evenings. This a rare chance to hear such captivating speakers and there are two lectures to run as part of the Summer 2012 series.”
The lectures are being led by experts from the University who bring their subjects to life with their enthusiasm and knowledge and give listeners the chance to experience something that will capture the imagination. The programme starts with:
"Discovering watercolour paintings in 18th century England"
given by Dr Aimee Blackledge on Tuesday 24th April 2012 and follows with:
"Current excavations in Egypt by the University of Liverpool"
given by Dr Glenn Godenho on Wednesday 2nd May 2012
All the lectures are from 7.00 - 9.00pm and cost £8.50 each.
It is necessary to book these lectures and any of our other courses so please contact Sir John Deane’s College,
Adult Education Department on 01606 810020.
