The design, called Floratecture, which stood 1.75m high, included Roses, Dianthus, and Chrysanthemum, Orchids, Eucalyptus foliage, dried crab apples, Echeveria succulents and Flexi grass and was the work of Dawn and members of two flower arranging clubs, Handbridge and Frodsham and District Evening Club.

Lynne Peachment, Head of Adult Education at Sir John Deane’s said: “I’d like to congratulate Dawn on her beautiful display at The Chelsea Flower Show. She is a great teacher, amazing flower arranger and we are all very proud of her.”

Dawn joined Sir John Deane’s Adult Education in 2014 and, due to the popularity of the course, now teaches two separate classes twice a week. A new beginner’s course will start in the Autumn term, with bookings being taken from mid-August.
