This year’s successful Oxbridge students included – Nicholas Bushnell-Wye, Harriet Loney, William Bell, and Luke Cockerton.

Sports

Congratulations to our sporting teams who have done us proud in the North West College League. SJD hockey players dominated the league taking first place – and well done too, to our netball team finishing a creditable third place. Our first team footballers claimed third place and the second team claimed first place in their leagues.

Harry Pickup travelled to South Africa as part of the Great Britain Junior Baseball team.

Performing arts

Dafydd Shalders appeared in a professional production of Grease at the Palace Theatre, Manchester.

Ten bands from SJD, Leftwich County High School, Hartford High and Middlewich High competed in our ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition in April.

Awards nights

Our Annual Awards evenings are the perfect way to celebrate the achievements of our students and are an important part of college life.

The events for Lower and Upper Sixth acknowledge the unique partnership between students, parents and staff that makes SJD so special.
