Enrolment information

You can enrol for all University of Liverpool courses and lectures using one of the following methods:

  • By visiting the Continuing Education website at www.liverpool.ac.uk/continuing-education/ and follow the link to the browse and book page. This is the most effective way of securing a place on your chosen course.
  • By post:  You can also download an enrolment form from the Continuing Education website and send the completed form to Continuing Education with a cheque made payable to the University of Liverpool. Alternatively, there is an enrolment form in the centre pages of the Continuing Education prospectus.

The Vikings in Britain– Michael Tunnicliffe The first Viking raids began at the end of the 8th century and intensified in the 9th

They almost overwhelmed the Anglo Saxon kingdoms but Alfred's Wessex held out

In the 10th century they lost ground but renewed raids in the 11th century saw Danish kings

ruling in England as well as Scandinavia from 1016-42

This course examines that story and the impact of the Vikings in these lands
