Singers raise money for good cause

Singers from Sir John Deane's Adult Education Department Singing for Pleasure course have donated an impressive £421.35 to MacMillan Cancer Support from monies raised during their annual concert, which took place in December.

The Singing for Pleasure courses run on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 7pm to 9pm under the expert tuition of Emma and Paul Morley. The husband and wife team have led the course since Autumn 2017 and are growing two blossoming singing groups.

If you are interested in developing your singing skills in an informal, fun and friendly group please get in touch with the Adult Education Department when enrolment for the summer term opens on Monday 19th March.
