Spring charity concert
Adult singers from Sir John Deane’s College were in fine tune when they recently performed in concert in Davenham.
All five of the Sir John Deane's College Adult Education choirs sang alongside the Wilmslow High School Community Choir at St Wilfrid’s Church in Davenham on March 25th, raising over £950.
More than 100 SJD singers performed a number of well known songs including Proud Mary, What a Wonderful World and Skyfall.
The concert raised £750 for St Luke’s Hospice along with a further £200 which was donated to the church.
Patsy Chuter, Head of Adult Education at the College, said: “Thank you to all our choirs who took part in this concert and raised a fantastic amount of money for charity. As always, they sounded brilliant and we had a lot of fun.”
