A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Site Manager to join Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College.
This is a varied and exciting role overseeing day-to-day operations at the College’s state of the art campus, located in beautiful surroundings.
The successful candidate must have experience of working in a site or estates role. They will also have good attention to detail, be practical, methodical as well as approachable and able to converse and direct site staff and contractors accordingly.
This opportunity would suit someone looking to take their first steps into facilities leadership or someone who is keen to develop and enhance their experience working within an outstanding educational establishment.
The successful candidate will benefit from a varied, interesting and unique opportunity, which will include being able to get “hands on” within a skilled team, liaising with contractors and organising and directing structural repairs and decoration.
The post is 37 hours per week, all year round, currently 8.30 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 4.00 pm on Fridays. The post-holder must be able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the department. Part time hours or flexible working arrangements may be considered for suitable candidates, please indicate your preferences on your application form.
