United Utilities has advised the college that there is a water outage locally. They are working on repairs but it is not clear when this will be resolved. As a consequence the college must close with immediate effect.
We are asking students to make their way home where possible. Students on the college buses (which are running to their normal schedule this afternoon) who are unable to make alternative arrangements, may stay on site and we will direct them to toilets available locally.
The external BTEC exams taking place this afternoon will still take place as normal.
