Sir John Deane’s continues a tradition of appointing a Head Boy and Head Girl whose role is to set an example to their peers and represent the College at key events.
They work closely with the team of Senior Students to ensure student views are represented and ideas come to life through a number of campaigns and fundraising events.
All students have the opportunity to apply for these roles in Year 12.
There are many opportunities for students to represent the College by volunteering at a number of events throughout the year, including Open Events, Pre-Sixth Days and Enrolment.
Volunteering at these events can be used as part of a student’s Duke of Edinburgh’s Silver or Gold Award.
