Progress Mentor Team

It is important for all our students to have an adult who knows them well, who is there to support and encourage them.

Joining Sir John Deane’s is an exciting step from the familiar surroundings of school and the time a student spends here will direct them on their future path to success.

It is vital that every student feels well supported from the first day they arrive at the college, giving them the confidence and resources to fulfill their potential.

Every student student in Year 12 and 13 is paired with a dedicated Progress Mentor — a trusted advisor, guide, and advocate throughout their time here. Our mentors build strong relationships with students and their families, monitor progress and attendance, and support every step of the journey from the first day to final destination.
