Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College continues to demonstrate why it is one of the leading sixth form colleges in the country by posting another set of outstanding results.

Almost half of our A level entries are in the traditional academic subjects valued by the top universities. In these subjects 43% of grades are A* or A

Outstanding subject performance

Core and STEM subjects including Maths, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and Geography were all above the national average for A* to B.

Straight As

Incredible individual successes - 19 students achieved A* for all subjects; 201 students gained all As

University Bound

Record numbers of our students have secured University places. Many of them are heading to top Universities with 10 Oxbridge places gained.

At A level 34% of grades were at A* or A. This is 8% higher than the national average.
