Parent Governor

I am keen to contribute to the college as a Parent Governor. I currently work as a lecturer and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, with a strong commitment to high‑quality teaching, student wellbeing and inclusive learning environments. I have also evaluated Department for Education social care innovation projects, giving me insight into improving outcomes for young people, including those who are vulnerable.

Previously, I worked as an evaluation researcher across UK local authorities, developing expertise in governance, accountability and evidence‑informed decision‑making. I would bring a thoughtful parental perspective, professional skills and a collaborative approach to support the governing body and enhance students’ experience and outcomes.
